AR T Series traveling wave tube amplifiers (TWTAs) cover 1 to 50 GHz with output from 40 W to 20,000 W, in CW and pulsed versions. A TWTA is a vacuum tube amplifier, used where an application needs high power across a wide bandwidth, such as satellite communications, radar and electronic warfare. For test work, the T Series is the choice when you need more power and a higher frequency than solid state can offer.
Every model has a front panel display showing forward and reflected power, gain, event recognition and full TWT monitoring. Standard features include an IEEE interface, hardware and software VSWR protection, an RF sample port and forced-air cooling. Modular power supplies and conservative engineering keep them reliable, serviceable and easy to transport.
