AR5z2CP5z9 Series
The AR5z2CP5z9 Series is a range of self-contained, air-cooled, Class AB solid-state power amplifiers designed for pulsed applications requiring wide instantaneous bandwidth and high gain. Covering 5.2 to 5.9 MHz, the series offers power levels from 2.0 kW to 600 kW for EMC testing (HIRF & HERO) , radar simulation and scientific applications.
Each amplifier incorporates a Digital Control Panel with a colour LCD touchscreen and rotary control, providing local or remote operation, forward and reflected power monitoring, amplifier status information and gain adjustment. Built-in monitoring, fault logging and protection help safeguard the amplifier against conditions such as overheating and power-supply faults.
Overview
The AR5z2CP5z9 Series provides high-power pulsed RF performance across 5.2 to 5.9 GHz. The modular architecture supports straightforward maintenance and service, while degradation mode helps maintain operation if an individual amplifier module becomes unavailable. Remote control and status monitoring are available through Ethernet, USB, GPIB/IEEE-488, fibre-optic serial and RS-232 interfaces.
