The AS40030 AR System is a comprehensive equipment package designed to perform Radiated Susceptibility testing to Mil Std 461G, RS103 (200V/m @ 1m) and Radiated Emissions testing to Mil Std 461G, RE102. The supplied equipment is listed below. Please refer to individual product specification sheets for details. The export classification for this equipment is EAR99. These commodities, technology or software are controlled for export in accordance with the U.S. Export Administration Regulations. Diversion contrary to U.S. law is prohibited.
For testing below 1GHz, the amplifiers and control equipment are to be kept outside the chamber and the RF energy is passed to the field generation equipment within the chamber through coaxial cable. The signal generation and control equipment is housed in a rack cabinet. All internal RF and control (GPIB) cabling and AC power distribution is included.
For testing above 1GHz, the amplifiers and control equipment are kept inside the chamber, minimizing cable loss. This field generation equipment is housed, in a ventilated, EMI shielded, equipment rack. Input power is filtered and distributed internally. Fiber-optically isolated GPIB interface and safety interlock systems are also provided. RF connections are through bulkhead connectors located on the side of the rack. The frequency matched and dedicated (1 per amplifier) antennas are user adjustable for both horizontal and vertical polarization. The equipment racks and antennas are mounted on electric lifts, creating portable field generating platforms that will reach test heights of up to 6 meters. The side of the equipment rack facing the antennas is covered in RF absorber to minimize reflection.
The AS40030 AR System can be further broken down into two subsystems The AS40030-RS (Radiated Susceptibility) and the AS40030-RE Radiated Emissions).
