Customer Service Administrator - Technical

AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation, world leader in the design and manufacture of broadband, RF amplifiers, is seeking a motivated Customer Service Admin who has the technical skills to serve as the focal point for internal and external customers in AR’s Customer Service and Calibration Lab.

The Technical Customer Service Admin will coordinate repairs and calibrations with customers, providing them with information such as standard repair rates, calibration and spare parts costs, RMA numbers, and gather project status information from the Service team to update customers and manage their expectations.  The Admin will enter and track information related to repair, spare parts and calibration services. 

Excellent customer communication and computer skills are required to communicate with internal and external customers as well as a background and willingness to increase technical skills as it relates to AR products.

High School diploma or GED required and technical background preferred. Recent grads from a technical program are encouraged to apply.

Electrical – Development Engineer

AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation, located in Souderton, PA, is seeking a talented and highly motivated electrical engineer to play a key role in the development of Broadband, RF and Microwave Power Amplifiers.  The ideal candidate will prefer diversity over specialization and desire to work in a small team setting to research and develop RF and Microwave power amplifier components.  AR is a privately held company that has been in business continuously since 1969 and is the world leader in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop RF/Microwave components
  • Effectively utilize RF/Microwave simulation tools
  • Design and develop RF/Microwave circuits for broadband power amplifiers
  • Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting of RF/Microwave circuits
  • Perform in-depth analysis of complex systems and arrive at conclusions in a timely manner
  • Routinely collaborate with others in a team environment
  • Assume additional tasked assigned by management

 

Qualifications:

  • BS from four-year college or university plus ten years related RF experience required
  • MS preferred  
  • 5 or more years’ experience in RF/Microwave circuit research and development
  • 5 or more years’ experience in RF/Microwave power amplifier design
  • Experience with modern RF measurement equipment such as Network Analyzers
  • Experience with modern RF/Microwave simulation tools such as CST and Microwave Office
  • Hand-on RF/Microwave experience

Sales Administrator

AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation, world leader in the design and manufacture of broadband, RF amplifiers, is seeking an individual to perform a variety of sales admin duties.

Will perform the following tasks:

  • Prepare quotations using ERP system
  • Utilize customer Supply Chain Collaboration and Management (SCCM) systems to submit bids, complete vendor surveys, etc.
  • Review and enter customer purchase orders into ERP system
  • Ensure all orders are acknowledged, entered and confirmed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage the sales order from entry to invoice
  • Communicate with customers and Sales Associates to ensure sales orders are complete
  • Work with appropriate engineers, Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), and customers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide administrative support to RSMs and outside Sales Associates
  • Respond to e-mails and customer calls in a timely, accurate and professional manner
  • Provide information to customers and sales reps on production and shipping schedules
  • Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to assist RSMs with leads and opportunity management
  • Prepare and distribute weekly sales order reports to outside sales associates
  • Complete vendor questionnaires

Associate degree or equivalent sales admin experience required.  Working knowledge of a CRM system and SCCM systems a plus. Must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Suite including strong Excel skills.
